Living years in the dark, straying away from the truth and not knowing the one true God, has led many people in India to search for the real truth. This hunger is burning in the hearts of millions of people in India. Unless Christians step out of their comfort zones and show them the living water, they will perish thirsty. John 4:10 Jesus answered..., "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." We believe this cannot be done without a good church planting ministry. Only in a church or a house church setting can people who are thirsty for the truth be properly fed and are able to satisfy their spiritual search.
Navajeevan Dhara takes a three fold approach for church planting:
- Organize Evangelistic Crusades in various towns and villages
- Connects new believers from the crusades to local churches or plant new house churches.
- Assists the house church to become a local independent church.
Navajeevan Dhara hosts and organizes various evangelistic crusades across the state of Maharashtra and Gujarat. They collaborate with multiple local churches and other ministries to organize large scale evangelistic crusades. On an average they conduct at least 25 evangelistic crusades annually. These crusades have been pivotal for the power of God to be poured out into the lives of people. As the Navajeevan Dhara Music Team provides praise and worship, we have seen many people being delivered from demons, sick healed and lame walk. We have seen the Holy Spirit manifesting in the life of all seeking the Truth and hundreds of people accepting Christ as their personal Savior.
Another aspect of Navajeevan Dhara's evangelistic crusade is organizing youth camps. Reaching the youth of India is a critical aspect of ministry in India, since they reflect India's tomorrow. In 2007 Navajeevan Dhara conducted six youth camps. The biggest one was "Mission Maharashtra" where almost 1400 youth attended and 569 youth committed to Christ and some even committed to full time ministry. Seeing the work of God working in these evangelic crusades, Navajeevan Dhara team has planned to organize 4-5 youth meetings in a year.
Navajeevan Dhara's evangelistic outreach is reaping a huge harvest. Along with the rapidly growing new evangelists from our Bible school are a huge blessing. We currently minister to 34 villages and Navajeevan Dhara oversees 12 full time pastors, who are actively working full time in these villages.
